Here in Italy is summer now, after big rains of this year we have red-hot sun all day^ every inch of earth not cultivated sprouts and grows. Mixed herbs, long and misterious stems fill uncultivated fields or country roads’s edges. They have sprung up suddenly. They were seeded by wind and insects many months before, and now shine like gold when the sun caresses them.
You can get lost in the interweaving of different herbs, flowers and long stems, I love wild grass and all its population, expecially during the early morning, while dew has not yet evaporated and butterflies still rest.
Their wings mimic the grass witch they adore.
This special moment did not last long, especially in the countryside.
The grass is cut, left to rest and be harvested to become hay.
The poetry and beauty is in the flow of change and to accept with joy the elusiveness of every moment.
A very special thank’s for butterflies images to my love Max Rinaldi, naturalistic photographer and super keen observer of creatures^ Here’s other beautiful captured moments.
