Humans, especially artists, think they’re inventors of many things.
When the ingenious idea cames, they’re invaded by a beam of divine light that brings them out of the top of the Universe. Everyone applauds + a lot of autographs + shots.
But not everyone knows that, in realities, artists pretend to be discoverers of things that have already been discovered by others long time before!
You don’t believe it?
I know, it could sounds strange but, just to give you an example, the op art movement (optical art) was invented long before the sixties, by leeks, and by onions in general. I have the evidence!
Ok, you still had to use technical equipment to polish imperfections and make more impactful, blah blah blah … but the hard work had already been done!
